Brousseau Hall is a modern science facility housing the Biology and 化学系s.  化学系包括研究实验室和4个大型教学实验室, all of which are designed for maximum safety and enhanced student experience. 实验室注册人数上限为16人, and each lab has individual student work areas and plenty of fume hood space.

The Saint Mary’s College 化学系 is housed in Brousseau Hall, which  opened in 2000.  The laboratories have numerous fume hoods (two are walk-in hoods for preparatory chromatography) to safely prepare various organic and inorganic compounds and derivatives for chemical analyses.  实验室有典型的合成设备(如.g. 真空泵、旋转蒸发器、熔点仪等.).

  • This Agilent instrument uses a minimal amount of argon gas to establish a plasma. This plasma is sufficiently hot to take nearly any compound and break the bonds yielding atoms.

  • Our system has a nitrogen gas generator (from air), large air pump (on the roof), and an autosampler.
